Direct answers to the questions facilities and robot vendors ask first.

  • Questions

Is Czar Chassis a different machine?

No. Czar Chassis is the same Czar Grid shipped by a robot vendor or integrator under its own name with its fleet, so the customer receives one system. Element 31 sustains and attests it underneath.

  • Questions

Does Element 31 see our data?

No. Camera feeds, captures, task records, adapted weights, and the record stay on your hardware. Appliances never connect to Element 31's portal, and support sessions are started by you.

  • Questions

What is recorded, and who can read it?

Every decision the pool makes, every task run, and every change to the node are recorded on the operator's hardware. The operator reads it. Element 31 has no path to it.

  • Questions

Can the pool connect to our WMS or PLCs?

Yes, if the site declares it. A connected Czar talks only to systems the site already secures, over routes the site named, with everything else denied by default. Nothing leaves the building.

  • Questions

How is a Czar Grid priced?

As one subscription for the configured Grid: hardware, platform license, and sustainment in one line, fixed for the term. More robots on the pool do not move it. There is no public price.

  • Questions

What does the robot vendor have to change?

Less than you would expect. The vendor keeps its on-board model, its safety behavior, and its fleet software. What changes is where the large models are served from: a pool in the building.

  • Questions

Can one Czar serve a small floor?

Yes. One Czar in the building's own rack is a pool for a small floor. When the floor grows, more Czars join it into a Czar Grid, and the robots see the same pool.

  • Questions

Who owns the models adapted on site?

The operator does. Adaptation runs on the pool using the site's own captures, and the adapted weights never leave the building. Element 31 does not receive them and cannot reuse them.

  • Questions

How do updates reach an air-gapped site?

As signed bundles carried in on media by the site's own people. The node checks the signature before it accepts anything, and the download is started by the customer, never by the appliance.

  • Questions

Can one pool serve robots from different vendors?

Yes. A Czar Grid serves every robot in the building, from any vendor, over the facility's own network, with a separate latency budget for each one. Each robot keeps its own on-board model and safety behavior.

  • Questions

    Does Czar need the internet?

No. A Czar serves every robot in the building over the facility's own network and can run with no path out at all. Connecting it to anything is a decision the site makes, not a default.

  • Questions

What happens when the pool is unreachable?

The robot falls back to its on-board model. It keeps reflexes, stops, and motion limits, finishes what it can alone, and waits. Nothing on the floor depends on the pool to be safe.

  • Questions

Does the pool replace the robot's safety system?

No. The pool serves perception and decisions. Stops, speed limits, reflexes, and motion limits stay on the robot as the vendor shipped them, and a pool that fails leaves a robot that stops.

  • Questions

Can a humanoid run all of its models on board?

A humanoid carries the models for balance, reflexes, and stops. The larger perception, decision, and language models it needs on a working floor come from a pool inside the building.
