SEMICONDUCTOR FABS & CLEANROOMS

Overhead transport, wafer-handling robots, and inspection stations from many vendors, served from the fab's own pool over the fab's own network.

A semiconductor fab bay: overhead transport vehicles carrying wafer pods above a row of process tools, a handling robot at a loadport, one technician far down the aisle.

THE PROBLEM

Where the work is.

A fab is the most vendor-dense floor there is, and the most protective of what happens on it. Transport vehicles, handling robots, and inspection stations each come with their own vision and would each send images outward. Inspection models beside the tool have to answer inside the tool's cycle, on a network that has no path out.

CONSTRAINTS

Why a GPU on every machine fails here.

  • Each tool vendor's cloud is a separate uplink from a network that should have none.

  • Wafer images, recipes, and yield data are the fab's most sensitive material.

  • Inspection has to answer inside the tool's cycle, not a round trip away.

  • A model learned on one tool is relearned on the next when every vendor keeps its own.

DEPLOYMENT

How the Grid deploys.

  1. 01

    Place the pool

Czar nodes in the building's own rack, on the building's own network.

  2. 02

    Connect the fleet

Each vendor's software calls the pool. Safety and motion stay on the machine.

  3. 03

    Run the site's tasks

Authored, approved, and recorded in Agency Studio on the Grid.

REPRESENTATIVE USE CASES

What a site runs on it.

Illustrative capabilities, not accounts of specific deployments.

  • Every tool vendor, one pool

Overhead transport vehicles, wafer-handling robots, and inspection stations from many vendors, served from the fab's own pool over the fab's own network.

  • Wafer vision that stays in the fab

Inspection models run beside the tool, on the pool; images, recipes, and yield data never leave the cleanroom network.

  • A fab that learns on its own lots

Models adapt on the fab's own captures, overnight, on the pool, with nothing leaving the segment.

Reading and boundary

READING

An inference pool on the fab's own network

A fab is the most vendor-dense floor there is and the most protective of what happens on it. One pool on the cleanroom network serves every tool vendor's vision and learns on the fab's own lots, with no path out.

Safety, stops and motion stay on the machine as its vendor built them. Czar Grid serves perception, decisions and adaptation over the site's network; it is not a controller and does not sit inside any real-time or safety loop.
