MINING & QUARRIES

Autonomous haulage, drills, conveyors, and the cameras along the pit, served from a pool on the site network that keeps working through any outage of the link out.

An open-pit mine at dusk: autonomous haul trucks climbing a terraced haul road toward a drill rig and conveyor, dust lit amber by the work lights.

THE PROBLEM

Where the work is.

A mine runs where connectivity is poorest and a stopped truck costs most. Haulage, drilling, and loading come from different vendors, each needing models the vehicle cannot carry, and the link out of the site is the least reliable part of the operation. The pool has to be on the site, and it has to keep running when the link does not.

CONSTRAINTS

Why a GPU on every machine fails here.

  • The link out is intermittent, and the vehicles cannot be.

  • A blocked haul road needs an answer inside the time the truck has.

  • Each vendor's AI system is a separate uplink that fails at the same moment.

  • Pit imagery and production data stay the operator's.

DEPLOYMENT

How the Grid deploys.

  1. 01

    Place the pool

Czar nodes in the building's own rack, on the building's own network.

  2. 02

    Connect the fleet

Each vendor's software calls the pool. Safety and motion stay on the machine.

  3. 03

    Run the site's tasks

Authored, approved, and recorded in Agency Studio on the Grid.

REPRESENTATIVE USE CASES

What a site runs on it.

Illustrative capabilities, not accounts of specific deployments.

  • A pool that runs when the link doesn't

Autonomous haulage, drills, and conveyors served from a pool on the site network that keeps working through any outage of the link out.

  • Shared perception across the pit

One set of models for trucks, loaders, and fixed cameras, so the site is learned once and served to every machine that asks.

  • Decisions for a blocked haul road

Larger models on the pool resolve the situation the vehicle cannot, inside the time budget the vehicle has.

Reading and boundary

READING

A pool for the pit that runs through an outage

A mine runs where connectivity is poorest and a stopped truck costs most. A pool on the site network serves haulage, drills, conveyors, and the cameras along the pit, and keeps serving when the link out is down.

Safety, stops and motion stay on the machine as its vendor built them. Czar Grid serves perception, decisions and adaptation over the site's network; it is not a controller and does not sit inside any real-time or safety loop.
