PLACEHOLDER — PENDING COUNSEL REVIEW
This page describes how the site actually works today. It has not been reviewed by counsel and is not a final legal document.
What this site collects
This policy covers both Element 31 websites: e31.io and the Substrate platform site at e31.ai. They are operated together and behave identically.
These websites collect information in exactly two ways. There is no third way, and there is no advertising technology anywhere on them.
- Briefing requests. When you submit the contact form, we receive the name, organization, work email, optional phone number, sector, deployment environment, and message you provide, along with your consent to be contacted about the request.
- Aggregate usage measurement. We measure page views in aggregate to understand which pages are useful. This measurement does not set cookies, does not build a profile of you, and does not follow you to other sites.
What this site does not do
- No advertising or marketing trackers, and no social media pixels.
- No cookies are set for tracking, which is why you are not asked to dismiss a banner.
- No third-party font or script CDNs. Fonts are served from this domain, so loading a page does not disclose your visit to another company.
- No chat widget, no session recording, and no cross-site identity resolution.
How briefing requests are handled
Contact form submissions are delivered to Element 31 by email through a transactional email provider. This website does not store submissions in its own database. We use what you send to respond to your request and to continue the conversation you started.
We do not sell information submitted through this site, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Hosting and server logs
The site is hosted on infrastructure that keeps standard operational logs, which can include IP addresses and request metadata. These logs exist to keep the site available and secure.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Send the request to the address below and we will act on it.
