SHIPYARDS & HEAVY FABRICATION

Welding robots, blast cells, and weld-inspection vision from several vendors, served from the yard's own pool, with hull survey that stays in the yard.

A dry dock at night: welding robots on gantries throwing sparks against a ship's hull, a crawler on the plating, cranes against the twilight.

THE PROBLEM

Where the work is.

A yard builds a few very large things with equipment from many suppliers. Welding, blasting, and inspection each come with their own vision and their own idea of where the data goes. The hull is the customer's and the yard's; its survey imagery should not be anyone else's. A pool in the yard serves every cell and keeps the survey.

CONSTRAINTS

Why a GPU on every machine fails here.

  • Each cell's supplier brings a separate AI system.

  • Weld inspection should answer at the cell, not a round trip away.

  • Hull survey imagery belongs to the yard and its customer.

  • A fabrication hall is a hard place to keep a GPU on every machine alive.

DEPLOYMENT

How the Grid deploys.

  1. 01

    Place the pool

Czar nodes in the building's own rack, on the building's own network.

  2. 02

    Connect the fleet

Each vendor's software calls the pool. Safety and motion stay on the machine.

  3. 03

    Run the site's tasks

Authored, approved, and recorded in Agency Studio on the Grid.

REPRESENTATIVE USE CASES

What a site runs on it.

Illustrative capabilities, not accounts of specific deployments.

  • Welding, blasting and inspection, one pool

Welding robots, blast cells, and weld-inspection vision from several vendors served from the yard's own pool.

  • Hull survey that stays in the yard

Drone and crawler survey runs on site, on the pool, and the models improve on the yard's own hulls.

Reading and boundary

READING

One pool for every cell in the fabrication hall

A yard builds a few very large things with equipment from many suppliers. A Czar Grid in the yard serves welding robots, blast cells, and weld-inspection vision from one pool, and keeps the hull survey where it belongs.

Safety, stops and motion stay on the machine as its vendor built them. Czar Grid serves perception, decisions and adaptation over the site's network; it is not a controller and does not sit inside any real-time or safety loop.
